Batteroo Test with Oximeter (2x Battery Life Extension)

Today’s blog is going to update you on our latest testing video! We tested two Pulse Oximeters side by side, one with Batteroo Boosts the other without, to see how long each would last. For those of you who don’t know, Pulse Oximeters are gadgets you put on your finger that measure the oxygen and heartrate by shining a light through the finger to take the measurements. For our experiment we set up a revolving disk with patterns that would mimic different readings so the Pulse Oximeters would continue taking measurements throughout the entirety of the test.
After equipping one of the Pulse Oximeters with Batteroo Boosts, we set up the Oximeters on the rig and got the experiment started. Because the Pulse Oximeters were both expected to last a long time, we conducted the experiment with time-lapse photography, with the camera rigged to take a picture every 20 seconds. We conducted multiple experiments with different patterns on the disk, but found that the patterns didn’t make a difference because our goal was simply to see how long the batteries would last.
The Pulse Oximeter without Batteroo Boost died after 5007 pictures, which means it lasted roughly 27 hours: 49 minutes. The Pulse Oximeter with Batteroo Boost lasted 9610 pictures, which translates to roughly 53 hours: 23 minutes! When using Batteroo Boost, you get almost 2x the amount of time and power out of your Batteries! With that kind of value, imagine all the batteries you could save!
